Everything that explains the framework is open, and always will be, including the placement exercise. The gate sits around the rooms, because a room where people reason out loud about live work is only worth being in if everyone in it is working seriously.
The two ways in
The open tier is a deliberate part of the design, not a teaser with things removed. A large number of people need the vocabulary and the mirror and nothing else, and it would be dishonest to make them pay for a room they do not need.
No application, no payment, no email required to read.
By application. Reviewed by a person, not by a payment form.
The application
The application exists to answer one thing: is there live, ambiguous work in front of you this quarter that a room could actually help with. If there is not, this is the wrong quarter, and we would rather tell you that than take your money.
Straight answers
We cannot promise that and will not. Bands move in rooms inside your own company, decided by people who have watched you work over time. What this can do is make sure that when those people read you, there is something real and honest to read, and that you already know what it says. That is a genuinely different thing from a promotion, and for most people it is the actual blocker.
No. There is no Progression-held ledger of your placement, and there is no badge. The vocabulary is portable on purpose: you run the reps on your own work, at your own employer, and your witnesses are your own colleagues. Nothing you type into the placement exercise leaves your browser.
No. The ladder and the muscles read the same in marketing, design, delivery, product, people, finance and recruiting. The work being absorbed differs; the size of the ambiguity, and whether somebody else can describe what changed, does not.
No. Managing is Leverage and Influence pointed at people-outcomes rather than at things. A manager and an individual contributor on the same rung are on the same rung, and neither one quietly outranks the other on this ladder.
Because the part that is hard to get anywhere else is somebody watching how you reason under pressure and telling you the truth about it immediately. A self-paced version works well for people who were going to be fine without us. For everyone else it quietly becomes content, and content on these topics is free.
It very often does, including for senior people, and the most common reason is a missing record rather than missing work. A quiet muscle describes the record, not the person. That distinction is the single most useful thing the exercise produces, and it is free.
Progression is built by Axelerant. The framework is deliberately company-agnostic and nothing in it depends on where you work, which is the only reason it is worth carrying with you.
Fit
Place yourself first. Fifteen minutes, no email, nothing stored. If you want a room after that, the application takes another five.
